St Just to St Ives is a Nice Road
The weather was looking good for 25th and 26th September 2015 so I decided to ride to Cornwall. A very nice couple of days riding it turned out to be. I rode down from Wimborne on the Friday to start my clockwise route at Launceston. I finished up for the day at Lizard Point and stayed over at Helston that night. On Saturday it was an early start on a cold, bright and clear morning to Penzance. The Bird was freezing and covered in dew but of course it started first time. The ride to Penzance and then on around to St Ives in the bright sunshine was very nice. The road from St Just to St Ives is a favourite of mine. My last landmark was Bude and from there I headed home. My favourite landmarks were the Minack Theatre and Huer's Hut, mainly for the views. Also RAF Davidstow Moor for the welcoming guy who runs the museum.
