A muddy CB1000FS 'Big One' at the end of the rally. If you program your Satnav to take the shortest route your bike will look like this. Lots of Exmoor mud because of all the muddy lanes we went down. This was the first time I used the Satnav on a rally and it didn't all go to plan. I followed it slavishly ignoring road signs. Not recommended.
I started this rally with Dave and Rob but my lack of Satnav skills meant it didn't stay that way. I finished it with Dave although I didn't manage to keep with Dave the whole time. It started badly when I got confused trying to leave Bridgwater. I programmed the Satnav with the complete route starting and finishing at Bridgwater. I literally couldn't tell whether I was coming or going! That was enough for Rob and he went off on his own. As well as that, Dave and I didn't always agree on which way to go and we went our separate ways a couple of times. Quite a stressful rally in one way or another!
